Grizzly Bear 399 Killed by Vehicle in Wyoming

Grizzly bear 399, a 28-year-old iconic figure in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, was fatally struck by a vehicle in Snake River Canyon, Wyoming, on October 22, 2024.
