Virginia Rideshare Driver Arrested for Assault

Sayed Cheshty, a 47-year-old rideshare driver, has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a passenger on August 10 in Fair Lakes, Virginia. The victim reported the assault after managing to escape and call the police, but Cheshty fled the scene before officers arrived. Following an investigation, he was charged with object sexual penetration on November 15 and is currently being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond.
