Devers to Start as DH for Red Sox

Despite Devers' initial resistance to the change, Red Sox manager Alex Cora has indicated that Devers will likely start as a DH on Opening Day, as he hasn't played third base during spring training. Devers, who expressed a desire to remain at third, has publicly accepted the change as he aims to contribute to the team, especially after dealing with shoulder issues last season. The Red Sox, who signed Bregman for $120 million, believe this move optimizes their lineup by allowing Devers to focus on his elite hitting abilities.
