The Woodlands Firefighter Seriously Injured by Falling Fan, Airlifted to Hospital

A firefighter at The Woodlands Fire Station 7 was seriously injured after being struck by a large ceiling fan in the bay area of the fire station. The firefighter, identified as John Rigoni, was performing routine checks on a fire truck when the overhead ventilation fan fell on him, causing injuries severe enough to require airlifting to a hospital via Life Flight. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office and Harris County Emergency Services District 11 responded to the scene to assist with the emergency.
