United Way Leads Multiple School Supply Drives for Thousands of Students

Multiple United Way chapters and local organizations across the U.S. are conducting school supply drives to support students in need ahead of the new academic year. The United Way of West Florida's Stuff the Bus event collects essential supplies for students in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, while the United Way of Central Minnesota tailors donations to individual students, emphasizing personalized supplies. Similarly, the Lima Salvation Army is hosting a Stuff the Bus drive at Walmart for area students, and the United Way of Northern Santa Barbara County has launched its 'Cram the Van' initiative to distribute supplies in Santa Maria, Guadalupe, and Orcutt. The United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County is also organizing a Fill the Bus event to gather backpacks and school supplies for about 1,000 children. These drives typically offer several drop-off locations and online donation options, aiming to alleviate financial burdens on families and ensure children have the necessary materials for a successful school year.
