Turlock Family Killed in Car Crash

Tragedy struck the Piedmont community following a fiery Cybertruck crash on November 27 that claimed the lives of three college students: Soren Dixon, Jack Nelson, and Krysta Tsukahara. Their families have expressed grief while requesting privacy, as investigations into the accident continue. In a separate incident, the Turlock community mourns the loss of Daniel Lourenco, Jennifer Lourenco, and their daughter Madelyn, who were killed in a two-car collision on December 17, while two other family members remain hospitalized. A candlelight vigil is planned to honor the Lourenco family, highlighting their deep ties to the community and the emotional toll of the tragedy. The California Highway Patrol reported that the other driver, Uriel Guizar-Negrete, was speeding and not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
