A tragic explosion occurred at Sadhana Nitro Chem Limited in Dhatav MIDC, Raigad district, Maharashtra, around 11:15 a.m. on September 12, resulting in the deaths of three workers and injuries to three others. The blast was triggered during welding work on a storage tank containing highly flammable methanol, according to Raigad's Superintendent of Police Somnath Gharge. The deceased workers, who were from Uttar Pradesh, were engaged in fabrication work at the factory. Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, extinguishing the fire and transporting the injured to a local state-run hospital for treatment.
