Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale has been confirmed as the third and final installment in the beloved Downton Abbey film franchise, with its release set for September 12. The film, written by series creator Julian Fellowes and directed by Simon Curtis, promises to conclude the saga of the Crawley family and their servants, featuring returning cast members like Michelle Dockery as Lady Mary. The first-look poster reveals Lady Mary in a striking red gown, further heightening anticipation. New additions to the cast include Paul Giamatti reprising his role as Harold Levinson, along with Joely Richardson and others. The film follows the 2022 release, Downton Abbey: A New Era, which ended with the death of matriarch Lady Violet.
