Aminu Dantata Buried in Madina After National Tributes

Alhaji Aminu Dantata, prominent Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, died at 94 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, sparking nationwide tributes. Leaders including President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima praised his vast contributions to Nigeria’s economy and philanthropy, highlighting his moral leadership and role as an elder statesman. Dantata was renowned for his ventures in agriculture, construction, and manufacturing, as well as his significant charitable work such as major donations to flood victims. Saudi authorities approved his burial in Madina beside his late wife, fulfilling his final wish, and the Kano State Governor with other officials traveled to Saudi Arabia to honor his legacy.
