Oscar Pistorius Begins New Relationship After Prison

Oscar Pistorius, the convicted murderer of model Reeva Steenkamp, has reportedly found love again with Rita Greyling, a 33-year-old farmer's daughter who bears a striking resemblance to Steenkamp. Simone Cowburn, Reeva's sister, expressed her horror and disbelief at this new relationship, questioning why any woman would choose to be with someone who has committed such a violent act. Pistorius, who served just nine years in prison for shooting Reeva, was released on parole in January and now lives in a fortified home. Reeva's mother, June Steenkamp, has also voiced concerns, labeling Pistorius as a continued threat to women and warning Greyling about his violent past. The Steenkamp family believes that Reeva was killed in a fit of rage, and they continue to advocate against domestic violence through the Reeva Steenkamp Foundation. The family remains troubled by the notion of Pistorius moving on so quickly after his release, especially with someone so similar to Reeva.
