Turkish President Erdogan Urges Iran-US Nuclear Talks to Resolve Regional Conflict

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has emphasized the importance of diplomacy in resolving the conflicts involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. Speaking at various international forums, Erdoğan welcomed a cease-fire between Iran and Israel and called for global actors to take effective measures to prevent wider conflict. He urged the resumption of Iranian-US nuclear talks, describing them as the only viable path to resolving disputes and criticized Israel's recent attacks on Iran as attempts to sabotage diplomacy. Erdoğan expressed Turkey's readiness to facilitate renewed negotiations and called on Muslim countries to impose punitive measures against Israel in line with international law and UN resolutions. Additionally, Erdoğan announced plans to open a United Nations Palestinian refugee agency (UNRWA) office in Ankara to support Palestinian refugees after Israel banned the agency, urging Muslim nations to increase their support. Throughout, Erdoğan stressed that dialogue and diplomacy must be prioritized to avert further regional escalation.
