The girls’ mother, who survived the fire, has been cleared as a suspect and recently reached a confidential civil settlement with her landlord’s company. Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction, and tips can be submitted anonymously online or by phone. Two officers were injured during the rescue attempt. The original home was demolished in 2023, nearly seven years after the tragedy.
