Epic Games Introduces Free Games for Mobile

Epic Games has announced that its popular free games program will soon be available on its mobile store, which launched earlier this year on Android and iOS. The program is set to introduce up to 50 third-party games, including Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition, by the end of 2023. This expansion will coincide with the addition of third-party applications and self-publishing tools for developers, enhancing the platform's appeal. General manager Steve Allison indicated that the rollout is expected in the fourth quarter, with a focus on implementing a payment solution. The move aims to compete against established app stores by providing free titles and reducing Unreal Engine royalties for developers. The store currently offers limited games, but this update is designed to attract more users and developers alike.
