Russian Missile Strike on Hotel in Kryvyi Rih Kills Four, Injures Over 30

A Russian missile struck a hotel in Kryvyi Rih, where volunteers from Ukraine, the United States, and the United Kingdom were staying, resulting in the deaths of four people and injuring over 30 others. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the attack occurred just after the volunteers checked into the hotel, but they managed to escape their rooms in time. The overnight rescue operation was highlighted in Zelensky's social media posts, which included footage of the damage and ongoing rescue efforts. Local authorities reported that alongside the hotel, multiple civilian structures were also damaged in the strike. In total, three men and one woman were confirmed dead, while 14 individuals sustained serious injuries. Zelensky reiterated the need for continued pressure on Russia to cease its attacks on Ukraine.
