CreAsia Studio, in collaboration with Vision+, has announced a new eight-part crime drama titled 'My Chef in Crime,' which creatively merges culinary arts with forensic science. The series follows a former forensic investigator who, after becoming a murder suspect, uses his skills in food science to clear his name, partnering with a female detective from his past. Developed by Thai producer Pornmanus Rattanavich and scriptwriter Nitikarn Pinmuangngarm, and directed by Indonesian filmmaker Sondang Pratama, the show aims to reflect the diverse culinary culture of Asia while delivering engaging storytelling. The project marks a significant stride for CreAsia Studio in producing original content tailored for Southeast Asian audiences. Expected to premiere early next year, the series is positioned to set new benchmarks in the crime genre according to executives at both CreAsia and Vision+. Clarissa Tanoesoedibjo, managing director of Vision+, expressed excitement about the high-quality content the collaboration will bring to viewers.
