Hill, driving the No. 21 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet, overtook Cole Custer with 12 laps remaining and maintained his lead to win by 3.045 seconds. This victory grants Hill his first opportunity to compete for the championship, joining AJ Allmendinger, who qualified last week.
