Elton John's Photography Collection Exhibition at V&A

Elton John has contributed to a photo exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London despite his dislike of being photographed. The exhibition, which covers a period from 1950 to the present day, includes more than 300 pieces by 140 photographers from the couple's vast collection. The exhibition showcases iconic fashion shots, celebrity portraits, and photojournalism capturing moments from historical events. The couple's collection reflects their personal preoccupations, including themes of fashion, celebrity, and the idea of beauty as something vulnerable. Notably, Elton John and David Furnish, who are known for their extensive photography collection, previously exhibited a show at Tate in 2016.
