Steve Bruce Appointed Blackpool Manager

Steve Bruce has been appointed as the new manager of Blackpool on a two-year deal, marking his return to football after being out of work since leaving West Bromwich Albion in October 2022. The 63-year-old former Manchester United defender, who has managed over 1,000 games across 11 British teams, takes over following the dismissal of Neil Critchley after a poor start to the season. Bruce will be joined by his long-term assistant Steve Agnew, with Richard Keogh, Stephen Dobbie, and Steve Banks continuing in their coaching roles. Blackpool owner Simon Sadler expressed confidence in Bruce's experience and leadership qualities to improve the club’s performance.
