Steve Bruce has been appointed as the new manager of Blackpool on a two-year deal, marking his return to football after being out of work since leaving West Bromwich Albion in October 2022. The 63-year-old former Manchester United defender, who has managed over 1,000 games across 11 British teams, takes over following the dismissal of Neil Critchley after a poor start to the season. Bruce will be joined by his long-term assistant Steve Agnew, with Richard Keogh, Stephen Dobbie, and Steve Banks continuing in their coaching roles.
