Bashy emerged as a major winner, claiming both Album of the Year and Best Hip-Hop Act for his critically acclaimed work 'Being Poor Is Expensive.' Ayra Starr made history as the first African female artist to win both Best International Act and Best African Music Act, while Darkoo won Best Female Act and Song of the Year for 'Favourite Girl.' Central Cee continued his dominance by winning Best Male Act for the second consecutive year, tying him with Stormzy as the most-decorated rapper in MOBO history. Odeal also shone brightly, taking home both Best Newcomer and Best R&B/Soul Act. The event was hosted by Eddie Kadi and Indiyah Polack and livestreamed globally, with highlights set to air on BBC One.
