Ed Sheeran has announced three homecoming concerts at Ipswich Town FC's Portman Road stadium this July, marking his first UK headline shows since 2023. The shows, scheduled for July 11, 12, and 13, will feature special guests including Myles Smith, Tori Kelly, Busted, Dylan, James Blunt, and Maisie Peters. These concerts coincide with the upcoming release of Sheeran's new album 'Play', set to debut on September 12, which he describes as a joyful and emotionally rich project inspired by personal challenges. Fans can access a pre-sale for tickets by pre-ordering the album, with general ticket sales starting May 9. Additionally, £1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Live Trust, supporting grassroots music initiatives. Sheeran, a lifelong Ipswich Town supporter and club sponsor, expressed that performing at Portman Road fulfills a long-held personal dream.
