Danika Priim Steps Down Amid Assault Charge

Danika Priim, a notable rugby league pundit and former player for England, Bradford Bulls, and Leeds Rhinos, has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman. The incident allegedly took place at Horsforth Cricket Club in West Yorkshire on July 22, 2022, where Priim is accused of 'intentionally touching a woman aged 16 or over' without consent. Priim, who became a vice-president of the Rugby Football League in September 2022, voluntarily stepped down from her role pending legal proceedings. She appeared before Leeds magistrates' court last week with her case set for Leeds Crown Court on March 13, without entering a plea.
