Nicks expressed that despite giving Buckingham 'more than 300 million chances,' their relationship could not be reconciled, even after McVie's passing. She described the atmosphere at the event as intense, suggesting that McVie was present in spirit, as a hurricane hit Nobu during the gathering. Nicks confirmed that Fleetwood Mac will not reunite, stating, 'when Christine died, Fleetwood Mac died.' She also reflected on their past conflicts, including a 2018 altercation that led to Buckingham's departure from the band, and expressed contentment with how their professional ties ended. Despite their animosity, she wished Buckingham well, hoping he continues to create music and teach others.
