The Honolulu All-Stars secured a crucial 9-1 victory over Illinois in an elimination game at the Little League World Series, keeping their championship hopes alive. The team's offense exploded with 15 hits, highlighted by Bronson Fermahin's three-run homer and strong performances from Evan Crawford and Kobe Lumford, who each had three hits. Honolulu's pitching staff, including Mason Mitani, Crawford, and Logan Brokaw, effectively limited Illinois to just one run on four hits. Managed by Gerald Oda, who previously led the team to championships in 2018 and 2022, Honolulu aims for Hawaii's fifth Little League World Series title since 2005. The players also experienced memorable moments off the field, meeting major league players during the Little League Classic festivities. Honolulu will next face the loser of the Nevada vs. South Carolina game in another elimination match on Tuesday.
