Jersey Mike's opens locations across Canada, U.S.

Jersey Mike’s has opened a new sub shop in Aberdeen, South Dakota, led by local entrepreneurs A.J. Hofer and Eric Bendewald, who have extensive experience in the food industry. Hofer, a former owner of a Qdoba location, expressed a long-standing commitment to establishing a Jersey Mike's in his hometown, highlighting the brand's goal of positively impacting the community and providing career growth opportunities. The new location adds to Jersey Mike’s expansion plans, which include opening 300 new locations in Canada over the next decade. The company, founded in 1956 in New Jersey, has experienced significant growth, tripling its locations in the past decade to over 2,800 nationwide. Jersey Mike's is known for its variety of sub sandwiches and community-focused initiatives, including an annual “Month of Giving” to support local charities.
