Chalamet Teases Dune: Messiah Production

Timothée Chalamet posted an Instagram story of himself looking toward a desert sunset captioned “DUN3 LOADING…”, teasing the forthcoming third Dune film, variously called Dune: Messiah or Dune: Part Three. Production reportedly began in July 2025 and is expected to continue through the end of the year, with the film slated for release on December 18, 2026. The threequel is being adapted from Frank Herbert’s Dune Messiah, which jumps roughly 12 years ahead of Dune: Part Two and follows Paul Atreides as emperor amid new political conspiracies. Returning cast includes Zendaya, Florence Pugh (cast as Princess Irulan), Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin and Rebecca Ferguson (who confirmed a small, non‑book role as Lady Jessica).
