However, Audiard expressed concerns that the wildfires could negatively affect the chances of foreign films, suggesting that Hollywood may focus on local productions in the aftermath of the crisis. With the fires claiming at least 27 lives and displacing many, including notable stars, the Oscar nominations have been postponed twice and will be unveiled online. The Oscars ceremony remains scheduled for March 2.
