City of Troy Prepares for Breeders' Cup Classic

City of Troy, the Epsom Derby winner and the highest-rated turf horse globally, conducted a vital workout at Southwell Racecourse as he prepares for the Breeders' Cup Classic on November 2. Under the guidance of trainer Aidan O’Brien, the horse completed a mile gallop, breaking from an American-style starting gate with a unique atmosphere drawing nearly 1,500 fans. With jockey Ryan Moore aboard, City of Troy showcased his abilities, finishing ten lengths ahead of his stable companions after a smooth transition from the back of the pack.
