2025 Dublin Literary Award Longlist Announced

The 2025 Dublin Literary Award longlist features 71 novels from 34 countries, celebrating its 30th anniversary with a prize of €100,000 for the best work of fiction in English. Among the nominees are seven Canadian authors, including Catherine Leroux's The Future and Catherine Hernandez's Behind You. The longlist also comprises notable works by seven Irish authors, such as Long Island by Colm Tóibín and Prophet Song by Paul Lynch, reflecting a diverse array of voices and genres. A significant portion of the longlist includes 16 debut novels and 26 translated works, showcasing literature from various languages including Korean and Farsi. The shortlist will be announced on March 25, 2025, and the winner will be revealed on May 22, 2025, during the International Literature Festival Dublin.
