Fatal Crashes and Road Rage in Multiple States

Several fatal crashes occurred on U.S. highways involving wrong-way drivers and road rage incidents. In North Dakota, a 44-year-old Mandan man died, and a Bismarck man was injured in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 94. In Colorado, Salvador Diaz, 21, died in a road rage incident on Interstate 25 that involved multiple vehicles and led to an arrest. On the Riverside Freeway in California, Stephen Palacios, 35, died from a wrong-way crash. In Michigan, a 23-year-old man from Washington state died in a wrong-way collision on Interstate 96, with the wrong-way driver arrested. Lastly, in Thurston County, Timothy J. Small, 41, and two women from Tumwater died in a fiery wrong-way crash on Interstate 5.
