UB40 Plans UK Summer Tour With Maxi Priest, Aswad Featuring New Album

UB40, the Birmingham-based reggae band known for hits like "Red Red Wine" and "I Got You Babe," has announced a UK tour for June 2026, kicking off at the Brighton Centre and concluding with a homecoming show in Birmingham. The tour will include dates in major cities including Cardiff, London, Manchester, Liverpool, and Bournemouth, with special guests Maxi Priest and Aswad joining the lineup. This tour follows their recent world tour of the US and Canada and will feature songs from their forthcoming studio album, their first since 2024's "UB45," which marked 45 years of the band's music career. Founding member Robin Campbell expressed excitement about performing live again, emphasizing the importance of playing for fans back home and blending new material with classic songs.
