Caitlin Clark's Record Return Lifts Fever Over Liberty
Caitlin Clark made a spectacular return to the Indiana Fever after missing five games with a quad injury, scoring a career-high 25 points in the first half against the undefeated New York Liberty. She shot 9-of-13 from the field, including six three-pointers, and added five rebounds and three assists to help the Fever take a 53-50 halftime lead. Clark's performance included three consecutive threes in 30 seconds and helped Indiana rally from an early deficit. With this game, she became the fourth fastest player in WNBA history to reach 850 career points, doing so in 45 games. Clark played without a minutes restriction and debuted a special edition Nike Kobe 6 Protro PE 'The Bellas.' Her return comes as the Fever look to improve their standing in the Eastern Conference.
