Human Trafficking Ring Busted in Texas

A pest control company treating a Texas house for bedbugs alerted authorities to a human trafficking operation in Princeton, leading to the rescue of 15 women who were forced to work for multiple programming shell companies. Four suspects, including Santhosh Katkoori and Dwaraka Gunda, were arrested and charged with human trafficking. Police seized electronic devices and fraudulent documents indicating a larger operation involving more victims. The victims, lured under the guise of computer programming internships, were found living in poor conditions and were exploited for their salaries. The investigation, supported by the Department of Homeland Security, revealed potentially up to 100 victims in the area across multiple locations, with additional charges pending.
