The Whole Truth (TWT), a Mumbai-based clean-label food brand, has successfully raised $15 million in a Series C funding round led by Belgian investment firm Sofina, with participation from existing investors including Z47, Peak XV Partners, and Sauce.VC. Founded in 2019 by Shashank Mehta, who aimed to address issues of hidden sugars in so-called 'healthy' foods, TWT has seen significant growth, with revenues nearly doubling to ₹71 crore in FY24. The new funding will support the expansion of in-house manufacturing, talent acquisition, and product portfolio development. Investors, including notable angel backers like Nithin Kamath and Sriharsha Majety, express strong confidence in TWT's mission to restore trust in food. This latest round values the company at approximately ₹2,133 crore, marking a significant increase from its previous valuation. TWT's commitment to transparency and clean nutrition resonates with an increasingly health-conscious consumer base, further driving its momentum and investor interest.
