Diverse Events Celebrate Native American Heritage Month

The Baltimore American Indian Center is celebrating Native American Heritage Month with its 48th annual Pow-Wow, featuring Native dancing, vendors, and food on November 16 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds. This event serves as the center's largest fundraiser, supporting its mission to maintain cultural classes and provide a safe community space since 1968. In Oklahoma, the Choctaw Nation is showcasing a 'Diverse Contemporary Art Exhibit' at the Durant Choctaw Casino, highlighting both traditional and modern artistic expressions until March 2025. Additionally, Nagpur's Mahdibagh Colony hosted a heritage walk as part of the Nagpur Sketch Festival, inviting artists to capture the community's rich history and culture through sketches.
