Kate Garraway Voted Out, Launches Sharing Life

Kate Garraway was voted out of the BBC reality series The Celebrity Traitors, becoming the final star eliminated ahead of the final. She said she felt “genuinely lucky,” enjoyed the experience more than expected, thanked the cast and described the series as restorative after “a few sad years” following her husband Derek Draper’s long illness and death in January 2024. The penultimate episode featured dramatic moments — including an on‑screen murder, a heated round‑table with David Olusoga and the banishment of Jonathan Ross — and some viewers criticised Garraway on social media for lacking credible theories. Garraway said the show's phone- and internet-free environment gave her space to laugh, think and begin a new chapter. She has announced plans for a new platform called The Sharing Life to help people share and support one another and continues to balance television work, including presenting on Good Morning Britain.
