Bollywood Stars Celebrate Dussehra in Delhi

On October 12, the festival of Dussehra was celebrated in New Delhi with Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, and director Rohit Shetty performing the Ravan Dahan ceremony at the Lav Kush Ramleela, symbolizing the victory of good over evil. The event, held at the iconic Red Fort, marked the promotion of their upcoming film 'Singham Again', which is inspired by the Ramayana, with Ajay playing Bajirao Singham and Kareena portraying Sita. The trailer for 'Singham Again' was also showcased during the festivities, highlighting its modern-day interpretation of the Ramayana and featuring a star-studded cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, and Deepika Padukone. The film is set to release on November 1, coinciding with the Diwali festival, and will face competition from 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. This year’s event follows Kangana Ranaut's historic performance last year, marking a tradition of Bollywood involvement in the Dussehra celebrations.
