R Sai Kishore Joins Surrey for July County Games

Indian left-arm spinner R Sai Kishore has signed a short-term contract with Surrey for his first appearance in English county cricket, playing two County Championship matches against Yorkshire and Durham later in July. Kishore recently excelled for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025 and led Tiruppur Tamizhans to the TNPL title. He brings significant leadership experience and an impressive First-Class record, including being the highest wicket-taker in the 2023-24 Ranji Trophy season with 192 wickets in 46 matches at an average of 23.5. Surrey High-Performance Advisor Alec Stewart praised Kishore’s skills and expects him to add depth and versatility to the squad. Kishore may face fellow Indian Ruturaj Gaikwad, now with Yorkshire, as several Indian players participate in this year’s County Championship.
