Missing Boy Found in Colorado; Mother and Husband Arrested

Abdul Aziz Khan, who was abducted by his non-custodial mother Rabia Khalid seven years ago from Atlanta, was found safe in Colorado. Khalid and her husband, Elliot Blake Bourgeois, were arrested on February 23, 2025, during an investigation into a reported burglary in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The couple, who had been on the run since 2017, were discovered after a homeowner's security cameras recorded them entering a vacant house. Khan and another unidentified younger child were found in a vehicle outside the home and have been taken into protective custody. Khalid and Bourgeois face multiple charges including kidnapping, forgery, and identity theft, with a court hearing scheduled for March 27. Khan's family expressed their gratitude to law enforcement for resolving the case and requested privacy as they begin the process of reuniting with Khan.
