LPG Tanker Explosion in Multan Kills 5, Injures 31

A gas-filled tanker exploded in the Industrial Estate of Multan, Pakistan, resulting in the deaths of five people and injuring at least 31 others. The explosion triggered a significant fire, scattering debris across nearby residential areas and leading to the destruction of several homes and livestock. Rescue operations involved over ten firefighting vehicles, and authorities are continuing efforts to contain a gas leak from the tanker. Among the injured, 13 individuals are reported to be in critical condition and are being treated at Nishtar Hospital, where an emergency has been declared. Power and gas supplies in the area have been suspended as a precaution, and the Multan-Muzaffargarh road has reopened for traffic.
