Louis McCartney Cast in Broadway's Stranger Things

Louis McCartney will reprise his acclaimed role as Henry Creel in the Broadway production of 'Stranger Things: The First Shadow,' beginning previews on March 28, 2025, with an official opening on April 22, 2025, at the Marquis Theatre. This marks McCartney's Broadway debut, following his award-winning performance in the West End production, which earned him the 2024 Stage Debut Award and the Critics’ Circle Award. Directed by Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin, the play serves as a prequel to the popular Netflix series, set in Hawkins, Indiana, 20 years prior to the events depicted in the show. McCartney expressed his excitement to bring the story to a new audience, highlighting the enhanced scale and depth of the Broadway version. The production is based on an original story by the Duffer Brothers and adapted by Kate Trefry, with additional casting to be announced.
