Jade Shekells to Make First Start as England Faces Scotland in Women's Six Nations
England head coach John Mitchell has made nine changes to the starting lineup for Saturday's Women's Six Nations match against Scotland, handing centre Jade Shekells her first start. Shekells, who previously played off the bench, joins a backline featuring fellow GB Sevens Olympians, while Marlie Packer returns at open-side flanker, one try away from her 50th international score. Key forwards Kelsey Clifford and Sarah Bern are promoted from the bench, and Rosie Galligan partners Abbie Ward in the second row. Maddie Feaunati is back at number eight after missing the last match, and captain Zoe Aldcroft remains the only player to start every game this championship. England, currently undefeated and leading in attacking statistics, are aiming for their seventh consecutive Six Nations title, which could be secured this weekend if France also lose. Scotland approach the fixture following a defeat to Italy, with only one win so far in the tournament.
