Former Penn State Wrestler Alex Facundo Transfers to Oklahoma State

Former Penn State wrestler Alex Facundo has announced his transfer to Oklahoma State, where he will join coach David Taylor, a fellow Penn State alumnus. Facundo, who had a record of 19-6 during his competitive season at Penn State, faced tough competition for starting spots due to the depth of the Nittany Lions' lineup. He also took an Olympic redshirt during the 2023-24 season and has two years of eligibility remaining. Additionally, Gary Steen, another wrestler from Penn State, is transferring to Oklahoma State, bringing his experience as well. These additions come as Oklahoma State looks to fill gaps left by the graduation of key wrestlers. The Cowboys are actively rebuilding their roster and have already secured two transfers from Penn State.
