16-Year-Old Faces Capital Murder Charge After Forney Texas Fatal Shooting
A fatal shooting occurred in Forney, Texas, where a 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with capital murder after a 19-year-old man was found dead at the scene. The incident took place in the 2100 block of Juniper around 8 p.m. on a Saturday night. Two other victims fled the scene to a nearby Walmart, where a 19-year-old man from Corsicana was found with gunshot wounds and taken to a Dallas hospital, currently in stable condition in the ICU, while a 24-year-old man from Corsicana was unharmed. Authorities have indicated the shooting appears to be an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the public. The suspect remains in juvenile detention, and the investigation is ongoing with no motive released. Officials encourage anyone with additional information to contact the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office.
