Jacksonville State University achieved a historic milestone by defeating Georgia Tech 81-64 in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament (NIT), marking the program's first-ever NIT victory and the 600th career win for head coach Ray Harper. Jaron Pierre Jr. was the standout player, scoring 30 points and contributing with five rebounds, seven assists, and three steals, while Marcellus Brigham Jr. and Jao Ituka added 16 and 14 points, respectively.
