Air Canada Flight Lands Incident at Halifax Airport

An Air Canada Express flight operated by PAL Airlines experienced a significant incident upon landing at Halifax Stanfield International Airport around 9:30 p.m. on December 28, resulting from a suspected landing gear issue. Passengers reported a massive rumble, with the plane tilting onto its left side and sparking a fire as it skidded down the runway. Fortunately, all 73 passengers and crew were safely off-loaded by bus, with only minor injuries reported. The airport temporarily suspended flight operations while investigators from the Transportation Safety Board began their inquiry into the incident.
