Crash on 215 in Murrieta

Jasmine Gomez, a 42-year-old woman from Hemet, was killed in a rollover crash on southbound I-215 in Murrieta when her Fiat 500 collided with a Dodge Ram 2500 pulling a trailer. The crash, which occurred just before noon, resulted in her vehicle overturning after the truck moved into her lane. Despite efforts from Murrieta Fire & Rescue, Gomez was pronounced dead at the scene, while the pickup driver, a 30-year-old man from Texas, was not injured and was briefly detained for questioning. The California Highway Patrol emphasized the importance of seat belt use following the incident. In separate incidents, a man died in a rollover crash on I-15 near Las Vegas, and another driver was killed in a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 10 in Caledon, Ontario, both under investigation. Authorities continue to seek information regarding the circumstances surrounding these crashes.
