Montana Awards Bridger Aerospace Exclusive Wildfire Detection Contract

Bridger Aerospace Group Holdings, Inc. has secured an exclusive-use contract with the State of Montana to provide wildfire detection and mapping services, valued at a minimum of $648,000 annually. The contract, which follows a competitive bidding process, involves using a modified Daher Kodiak 100 aircraft equipped with advanced sensors and guarantees 120 days of service each year. This opportunity marks the first joint effort between Bridger and FMS Aerospace since Bridger's acquisition of FMS in 2024, aiming to enhance wildfire response capabilities in Montana. The partnership is expected to deliver rapid hotspot identification and precise fire perimeter mapping, supporting firefighting operations effectively. CEO Sam Davis highlighted the significance of this contract in expanding Bridger’s portfolio and ensuring almost all of its fleet is operational for the 2025 fire season. With potential additional revenues, the contract could exceed $1.9 million over three years, contingent on state funding and contract extensions.
