Army Unveils Uniforms for Navy Game, Honors 101st Division

The upcoming Army-Navy football game on December 14 will feature the Army Black Knights wearing special uniforms that honor the 101st Airborne Division, known as the 'Screaming Eagles'. These uniforms commemorate the division's significant role during World War II, particularly their defense at the Battle of the Bulge in Bastogne. Designed in collaboration with Nike, the uniforms incorporate motifs reflecting the snowy and foggy conditions of the Ardennes forest, including markings used by the 101st Airborne. This year's game, taking place two days before the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, adds historical significance to the rivalry. The Army-Navy game is a celebrated tradition in college football, known for its unique uniform matchups and the awarding of the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy. Army, currently 9-0, aims to defend their title in the American Athletic Conference Championship and the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy.
