DAP Reaffirms Full Support for Anwar Ibrahim as Prime Minister

At the 18th DAP Congress in Shah Alam, the Democratic Action Party (DAP) reaffirmed its unwavering support for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, with leaders emphasizing a commitment to loyalty and unity within the coalition. DAP Secretary-General Anthony Loke highlighted that under Anwar's nearly 28 months of leadership, Malaysia has regained political stability and that the dark chapter of the Sheraton Move will not be repeated. National Chairman Lim Guan Eng echoed this sentiment, stressing that while DAP supports Anwar, it prioritizes accountability to voters over being a 'yes-man' party. The congress also marked a historic moment as Anwar attended in his capacity as Prime Minister, receiving a warm welcome from over 4,200 delegates. Lim commended the political reforms initiated by Anwar's government and called for accelerated economic reforms to meet voters' expectations.
