Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop expected to open in Connecticut April 2025

Texas Roadhouse has claimed the title of America's favorite casual dining chain, overtaking Olive Garden for the first time in seven years, according to Technomic's latest report on the largest restaurant chains in the U.S. Known for its hot rolls and honey-cinnamon butter, Texas Roadhouse began in Indiana in 1993 and now boasts numerous locations worldwide. Meanwhile, Capriotti's Sandwich Shop is set to make its Connecticut debut with a new outlet opening on April 25 in Enfield, marking the first of three planned locations in collaboration with Noble Gas. The new Capriotti's will offer a range of sandwiches, including its signature The Bobbie, and aims to enhance the convenience store dining experience. Additionally, Cerruti’s Sandwich Shop is preparing to open in Southampton, featuring classic hoagies and cheesesteaks, with a focus on fresh, in-house prepared ingredients. These new restaurant openings highlight the growing demand for diverse dining options within local communities.
